If you are playing with the carrier air units and optional CV searching does this unit still get a search bonus? It can't hold an air unit and therefore has no air unit range.

So is it armed with bombs or torpedoes? [:D] I predict it will be one of the most looked-up write-ups. P.S. I know, it launched a plane for recon....mostly.

[:D][:D] The sub's max altitude was 120 meters; max duration was 75 seconds. On landing it was destroyed, hence its nickname as kamikaze-sub.

No, unfortunately it's not. On the other hand, the Surcouf is a lone ship, while there were a number of Japanese SUBs with a floatplane.
