Romanov -> An old bug re-surfacing? (5/17/2009 12:35:21 AM)

[&o] Marshall can you take a look at this please.[&o]

Great Britain loans Corps to Prussia, and Corps still remains under Prussian control after Economic phase??

We were going to continue, but the situation requires Great Britain to have control of his Corps.

I have sent Great Britains file to you, or would the GM ( Austria) file be better?

NeverMan -> RE: An old bug re-surfacing? (5/17/2009 2:41:44 AM)

So control is suppose to automatically revert after an econ phase???

Dancing Bear -> RE: An old bug re-surfacing? (5/17/2009 3:14:49 AM)

I thought control reverted at the start of the diplomacy or reinforcement phase (don't quite rember which), but not the end of the eco phase.

To be exact, we currently are at GB reinforcement phase.

Control return happens at the end of each month, prior to next months diplomacy phase.
So in months that include eco-phases, it happens between end of last eco-phase and new months diplomacy phase.

Problem is they should be returned after end of all land moves, so the proper nations pay upkeep etc.
In this case GB-corps was not even returned.
I belive to have read similiar has happened before after eco-phase.

Bresh

British corps, at Frankfurt was not returned to GB-control.
Its Prussian-controlled, since it was lend to them the previous month.

Got-r-done!

Romanov -> RE: An old bug re-surfacing? (5/29/2009 11:47:50 PM)

Thanks for fixing that last problem, but it seems to now have re - surfaced again.
The other Corps in that same area are now not under GB control as they should be for this month. Although not a game stopper as such, I will send the file for reference and correcting should the problem not go away.

Our game is currently continueing.

We gave you the files, since you mentioned you been unable to duplicate the bug.
Im not aware if the 2 bugs are an effect of the prior.

Since we where in French-Land-Combat phase we decided we finish the battle and then ask you to fix the control in the following phase.(Since last i heard, you can not create backups during a combat phase).

We finished the battle.
Anyway Rob should send you the "new"-file asap, and all the Corps at Hesse needs to be returned to GB-control (As they where prior to the loose-control-bug).

Bresh
