drw61 -> Thanks! (5/23/2009 3:51:56 PM)

Something that Terminus stated yesterday (?) made me wonder what type of pressure we have been putting on the AE team. Sometimes our demands for one more option, one more fix, can be very frustrating for a team that has volunteered their spare time into improving a great game.
I for one want the thank the entire AE team, the amount of work you have put into this game is phenomenal. I think that you have actually been very patient with our demands and questions and I really appreciate it.
Again, Thanks! [&o][&o][&o]

Don Bowen -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 3:54:17 PM)

We're perfectly capable of ignoring requests. I, for one, am an expert in ignorance.

Terminus -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 3:59:14 PM)

I'll ignore that.

Yamato hugger -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 3:59:27 PM)

Pfft. What makes you think we listen to you guys whining as motivation to finish? If anything that drags it out.

Erik: Are we ready?
Joe: Been ready for 6 weeks!
Erik: So when are we gonna do it?
Joe: Not yet, still lots of torment to do, lets wait another 5 eeks.
Termy: Thats lots of kittens!
Tree: I dont know if there are that many kittens.
Don: *burp*
John: I made a new ship!
Joe: Good! Then we can wait a few more days!
Erik: /slaps forhead
Don: *burp* I aint fixen this unless someone tells me to.
John: Nothings broke Don, go back to sleep.
Don: Umph.
Joe: Oh look! Someone else whining *giggle*

Keep in mind this is fantasy version of what really goes on - a couple of peices are very close - some others are the exact opposite [:D]

I find this comment to be VERY intriguing. It makes me want to fly to origins, find as many members of your team as I can , then ply them with alcohol to get them to talk! [:D]

Don and Ian and I respond very nicely to single malt scotch. [:D]

AW1Steve -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 5:27:57 PM)

Then I will have to arrange a road trip to Ohio in June if possible! Single malt just happens to be my favorite flavor as well! [:D]

Cask strength, Highland or Orkney (well, maybe one Campbelltown, Springbank 15yr). Burp!

What? Are you telling us that you are above "alcoholic bribery?"[:D]

thegreatwent -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 6:35:50 PM)

I've got a bottle of Port Ellen If that helps me get AE sooner.

bristolduke -> RE: Thanks! (5/23/2009 6:59:04 PM)

I've been surfing to see if this game is for me or not ( I have dabbled in WITP solitaire).

But I have a Ardbeg 17, if that will help here.

I think I could be persuaded....[;)]

I'll take Miller Lite.

I may be cheap, but I'm not easy.[:D]

I could be convince. The best whiskey though is that which is shared so I would have to present to raise a glass. Let me know if you come out Denver way[:)]

thegreatwent -> RE: Thanks! (5/24/2009 6:49:41 AM)

Oh and btw thanks to all folks who have worked on this unwieldy beast. I look forward to spending many hours and days to become just a sub-par player. I know T founded a club for folks like me[;)]

Andy Mac -> RE: Thanks! (5/24/2009 9:55:05 AM)

Talisker or Isle of Jura sod all this smooth Speyside nonsense I have the remnants of a 25 year old bottle of Jura somewhere I need to go find it

Barre -> RE: Thanks! (5/25/2009 9:35:46 PM)

Remnants...?!? Lost whisky?  Such neglect! 25 year old Jura should be enjoyed ASAP!  Neat or with a splash for me....

SuluSea -> RE: Thanks! (5/30/2009 12:55:33 PM)

Guys at Matrix, the artists, modders and testers that offered their services on the AE project don't realize how greatful some people are for their efforts. Any other company would have released it last year , this I have no doubt.
Big thanks for everything, looking forward to this thing wrapping up as I'm sure most of you are.[&o]

tigercub -> RE: Thanks! (5/30/2009 1:14:41 PM)

A pat on the back guys[&o],I drink any thing i have some rum from Philippines and some whisky from thailand but it closer to paint thinner...Cheers!

Japan -> RE: Thanks! (5/30/2009 1:53:54 PM)
