Well, even the current release doesn't let me run the game in where I can see the bottom of the screen. It looks like Puresim is off the table for me now at the moment. [:(]

Can you try running in 1024x768?

I did try that, but this is a widescreen display, so when I set the desktop resolution to 1024x768 it makes it completely distorted. I think if I actually increase my screen resolution I will be able to fit the Puresim window in the display area. Let me give that a try.

Ugh. 768 is my maximum vertical display resolution, so I can't make any more room. So what happens is when Puresim itself has a 1024x768 resolution and runs in a window, the extra space taken up by the Windows title bar pushes it too far off the bottom of the screen. I'm going to keep experimenting, though.

Actually, there is not Windows title bar. I found an easy solution, though. Since Puresim's horizontal real estate is only 1024, I simply dragged my Windows task bar to the side instead of the bottom. Now Puresim fits in perfectly vertically.

How do i stop the install IE8 message everytime i start PureSim. i do not want IE8

Uninstalled, reinstalled still get same message

Thanks

Actually I was wrong. That message should only come up if you have a version of IE less than 6. My guess is you at least have IE6 on your machine. I fixed it for the final release.

Sorry about that :)

Thank you sir !!

... Funny, My Window Task bar is on the right side of the screen as well ... Never thought about the task bar creating a problem for you and others ... You could also click Task bar menu and click "auto-hide the task bar" as well ... anyway, it's good to hear you found the solution to cont to enjoy the game

Shaun, the point is that it runs fine in 1024 x 768, but I use a higher screen res, 1152 x 864. This never used to be a problem, because PS would force the 1024 x 768 setting for me. Now the option for that setting has been removed. I'd sure like to see it back again. I know I can can change screen res myself, but I really don't want to have to do that every time I start the game. Call me spoiled...

The other issue for me is that the scoreboard cannot be moved from the top of the screen. I go into "Configure PSPNcast," move it to the bottom of the screen where I want it, save the change, and when I sim a game it's still at the top. How can I get it to move?

Because of the screen res and the scoreboard issue, I'm going to roll back to the previous version, at least for now.

Just installing PureSim Baseball 2007 again, and have installed RC4. Am running MS Vista 64-bit. Keep on getting the dialog box / error message:

Unexpected error; quitting.

Is PSB 2007 supposed to work with Vista 64-bit edition?

Should run fine, make sure you set the shortcut to "Run As Administrator"

That did the trick - thank you!
