Just a poll in regarding to the "List of 102": Should the MLB release the list in order to cleanse the mind of all and to be able to start fresh or keep it a secret?
If so, Should we not vote Rose, Shoeless, and others to the Hall of Fame due to their prowness on the field rather than off?

I believe that anyone should be eligible for the HoF as long as their actions didn't somehow give them an unfair advantage on the field.

Is the phrase "conduct detrimental to baseball" still in use? Does anyone know exactly how it is defined?
By Wrathchild's definition, I'd have an easier time admitting Pete Rose and Joe Jackson into the HoF than I would any confirmed performance-enhancing drug user.

I agree with KG on Shoeless Joe in particular I think he deserves to be in the Hall and should have been in years ago. I also think Pete has paid for his crimes in most respects and deserves his spot based on what he did between the lines.
