Gentlemen, can we please discuss quickly the rules of engagement. My understanding is: We are playing in 3 fixed teams and there will be one team who wins. Switching of teams is not allowed and there is no regime winner, just the team/alliance. In between different teams may discuss temporary pacts on an informal basis Did I get this correctly? (Maybe I played too much of the boardgame Diplomacy when I was younger so I am now careful to discuss the setup at the beginning so everybody is on the same page). Good luck to everybody and may the best alliance win.

That is what I thought the game is about. But I am playing this game for the first time, so maybe there are different options.

It's not quite what I would have preferred, but looks like a good game just the same. I wonder how many other people spent endless hours, and learned the map of Europe, from playing Diplomacy, like Lunaticus and me.

Lunaticus, yes you are right so which ever 2 man team wipes the others out or they get them to surrender wins.

Perhaps the 'f' player can play 'e's turn if he is AWOL! - I hope we're sharing passwords between teams!

Sorry, guys. [&o] As I saw today, after reading this posts, the mail to BulldogintheUK did not go out. Just send it. I had answered Lunaticus and told him about my move. So I was sure to send the turn as well.
