Having played this years ago (along with 2nd front and Bomb Alley) I am hopeful Gary Grigsby will be some day redoing and re-releasing both updated for Windows.

Where abouts in the cycle is War in the East now? Getting done? Early days? etc?

Anybody have an inkling of what kind of engine it will be?

I guess War in the East will become the most anticipated Matrix title after AE release and I really don't care how long it needs to be finished, as it's always nice to have something big, worth to be wait for.

Grigsby games are simply outstanding and you can't expext to get a new one every year.

Actually, during the 80s and up to PacWar, there was almost a yearly Grigsby game.

My only Grisby game is Uncommon Valour and its a great game!

But the aircraft and ship screens have way too much detail.

A lot of detail is not useful if we cannot use that detail to improve our game !

Sapper, it is in alpha, and while we can't say too much, even in very early Alpha, it was very good

you know forum speak, it was good in early Alpha, it is better now that it is past early Alpha, can't wait till we got to early beta, then it is going to be sweet
