Hi!

I´ve started a L.C.G., WF Big Red One in Sicily, an won two battles so far.
After the time limit had been reached, the intro movie was loaded and I returned
to the L.C.G. screen.
My question is, if this is intended. Is there no screen with a comment like:
good job, medal earned, general is shaking your hand and driving away to have
his diner or someting like that. [:D]
The second question is, if my troops are gaining experience with each battle
they were fighting?

I´m absolutley new to JTCS, with only a hand full of battles under my belly.
So any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

1st Question: no

2nd Question: yes, I believe so.I've had JTCS for about a year and have only 2 Campaigns under my belt.

Big Red One is a Dynamic Campaign Game, or DCG. Unlike the LCG, you will recieve medals and promotions for your successful efforts.

The fanfare is kept to a minimum, but you will get a small ceremony for a medal. Your units will get experience points and so will your character. Keep it up, you will get there.

You are right, The Big Red One is a DCG but I´m playing The Big Red One in Sicily, which is a LCG.
