When does the Japanese Player get these 2 illustrious Subs?
1- I-19 (sank CV Wasp, damaged BB North Carolina, September 15, 1942)
2- I-26 (damaged CV Saratoga, AUgust 31, 1942)

I-26 also sank Juneau on November 14, 1942. I would like to know what happened to the commander, Minoru Yokota. It interesting that Japan did not, for whatever reason, conduct unlimited submarine warfare, whereas Allies did. Doenitz got 10 years in Spandau, and would have gotten more, if Nimitz had not told Nuremburg that Allies did the same thing to the Japanese.

Here's a little information on Yokota...... but not much. Interesting details too on the I-26.

It still amazes me how the actions of the victorious are lionized or excused and those of the defeated are covered in cruelty and dishonor. Machine gunning of survivors was not the sole province of axis submarines. Morton in Wahoo wasted a small troop convoy in this way and was an instant hero.

Rightly or wrongly, the winner always makes the rules.
That's the way it's always been. Still and all I'd hate to think
what might've been if the allies had not prevailed. :(

I love UV and am playing as the Japanese. I try to find out as much as I can about my navy, and army. God Forbid they would have won in real life. I-26 obviously sank anything that floated! ;) UV is not a game, its a way of life!

I-168 sank Yorktown after Midway
