Grimrod42 -> Editor Questions (7/6/2009 8:59:40 PM)

Hi

I have a few questions about the editor
We are starting a new game soon and I want to re-create original EiA as much as is easily feasible.

However I do not understand in the editor how to use the
per Major Power the following sections
-Alliance restrictions
-enforced peace
-stance
there are postive and negative numbers but...

also in the units section what is TMR?

Any help would be appriciated
thanks

Grimrod42:

Alliance restrictions basically means that those 2 nations are restricted from forming an alliance for the specified amount of months.
Enforced peace keeps the selected MP from issuing a DOW on the chosen MP for the specified number of months.
Stance is actually the number to be used in the natural alliance table between the selected nation in the far left and the selected nation in the complete nation list. The more negative the more hatred between the 2 nations. This helps tell the AI how to act towrd other nations.

TMR is a unit's tactical maximum rating. This bascially tells you how many units the selected unit can command in a battle without incurring a tactical rating penalty.

Hope this helps!

Hi Marshall,
Is there a how to manual or tutorial available for using and implementing the editor ?

Marshall Ellis -> RE: Editor Questions (7/14/2009 1:35:39 PM)

Not yet. We have the normal manual section but we plan to give more details in 1.07
I've already locked down 1.06 so that we can get this thing released!

Dancing Bear -> RE: Editor Questions (7/15/2009 1:14:48 AM)

And how are we doing with the 1.06 release? Will it be any time soon?

I will check and see...
The guys down in the rowing sections are busy! :-)
