Ramjet -> Asterisks* (8/2/2009 5:18:22 AM)

I'm still wading through and getting used to the massive amout of, well, everything in this game. One thing that has been a bit aggravating to me is there is an asterisks on just about every menu I bring up but no explaination in sight. Why do some leaders have them? Why some weapons? An asterisk cheat-sheet would be great, but can't find all the explainations without wading through hundreds of pages of rules. Anyone put together anything yet?

Well on air unit transfers for fragments and IIRC detachments, an asterik indicates where the parent is based...

Following have '*' from memory:
Group Leader screen: leader who is also is classed as a pilot
Ship weapons: the weapon is capable to fire as AAA (ie has a maximum altitude defined)
Hex display: airfield has more planes than it should for proper operaions

2 more
ground unit elements: element is static (or makes the unit static)
Headquarters: shows that the HQ is restricted

Don,t forget TF movement orders. Example - "Task Force Routing Waypoints**". Or "Direct Route Ordered***"

These really should be changed if at all possible, or have some sort of popup/explanation.
