orabera -> RE: ACM question (8/3/2009 7:23:17 PM)

This brings up a question I've been meaning to ask. The four major U.S. West Coast ports, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle/Puget Sound all have an ACM in port. The first three have minefields to be maintained from the beginning by the ACM's. Seattle/Puget Sound, because of the unique geography, the ACM is at Seattle and the Coastal defenses defenses are at Oak Harbor (which is also a port). But there are no mines covering the approaches to Seattle/Puget Sound at Oak Harbor, Seattle or Tacoma. Just wondering if this is correct or are the mines at Victoria (Canada) meant to represent the mines in Puget Sound?
