If I had to name just one thing, it'd be the glorious new map, with 40-mile hexes. But virtually everything mentioned in this thread is also on my list of favorites. :)

Amen to whoever suggested having an option for only seeing certain animations.  I hate having to ESC through endless air-raids and ground attacks in China just to get to the juicy parts in the central/SW Pacific.

The map has my vote but I have to say I do like the new air to air system as well.
