Is there a kind soul who know how to manipulate adobe out there who could post as a txt or in adobe the ship types in alphabetical order. The manual is driving me crazy trying to look up all these new ship types and paging thru 5 pages of types looking for the match just to see what this ship should be doing. I would be grateful. Thanks.

Here you go. The attached file is actually a "pdf", I changed the file extension to "txt" so that it would upload. If this doesn't work, let me know & I'll upload a text version.

Okay, the attachment works. Open the attachment, right-click on the file name & save it to disk. It will be saved as a "pdf" file.

FYI, the above works in IE but in Firefox the file is saved as a txt file, which won't open correctly.

Thank you this helps a lot.

In Firefox you need to give it a name and *.pdf extension ... it does work ...

I need to make some flash cards to learn all the ship types.

DaveConn -> RE: Ship types (8/5/2009 9:28:36 PM)

Very helpful; attached is a slightly revised version with info on small escorts, small craft, and type of work the various auxiluaries can do. (Hope the upload works, my first attempt at this.) Again, the file type shows .txt, but it is actually a .pdf file.
