1 - As far as I can see, the only difference between a cargo TF and a Transport TF, is that troops on a transport TF must be in strat mode. True?

2 - If I cross load fuel into AKs, is there an offset or penalty as there is in cross loading troops?

3 - I've read somewhere that the "Load Supplies" command will load supplies into any AKs in a TF, and then load fuel into any TKs that might be in that same TF. Is this true, or am I having another bout of senile dementia?

I believe if they are not in strat mode, they take forever to load.  I have never tried to load if they aren't, so I could be wrong.

2, Yes. fuel loaded onto an xAK takes twice as much space. I've seen a 1400 xAK loads 700 fuel

3. Yes. Select load supply into an AK/TK TF will load supply(AK) and fuel(TK). However, select load fuel and you get fuel in both ships.
