Mozo -> Upgrading Carriers. (8/25/2009 1:05:30 AM)

Two questions:

1) If I have a CV disbanded in port on an upgrade date - will it happen auto?

2) On of the upgrades I want to do says it requires a "10" port. Is there a 10 port or am I not understanding this?

Thanks,

Mozo

Make sure you have upgrade set to "yes". The port must be big enough to upgrade the ship.

There is no such thing as a size 10 port.

It was answered by Bowen or JWE in another topic. It is sort of an error as the upgrade size required must be equal to tonnage of the ship. For example, even though it says only requires an upgrade shipyard of 10, if your ship is 30000 tons it will require a shipyard of at least 30 in order to upgrade. The figure in the database should have been changed to the tonnage size. If the figure says 0 then the ship does not require a shipyard to upgrade.

Leaving it in the smaller shipyard will not upgrade the ship. You will have to move it to the right size yard.

Hope that answers your question.

Good point. I think you mean size 10 shipyard, not port. I believe that will handle ships up to 10,000 tons.

Yes - shipyard size - sorry for the confusion. And thanks for clearing that up. I assume Pearl is good enough for that then.

Again, thanks!

Yes. Pearl is a size 100 which means it can handle a ship up to 100000 tons or ships in total not to exceed 100000 tons.
