Zebedee -> Endurance and Fuel Use (8/25/2009 4:25:49 AM)

Just a bit of a silly question (knee deep in notes and convoy schedules...) Endurance is how far a ship can travel with its current fuel load. Is this based on travelling at cruise speed? If so, can one work out fuel usage of a ship (travelling at cruise speed) for any set distance with the formula: Endurance / Fuel = x distance travelled / x = tons of fuel consumed at cruise speed ? Meaning a ship with 10000 endurance, 5000 fuel would use 60 tons of fuel travelling 120 miles at cruise speed, or 240 tons at full speed? I'm making this assumption based on WitP, but while I figure out convoy routes etc, I just wanted to check I've a ballpark figure to work with. Or if not, how to get the fuel usage of ships as a basic calculation. :)
