I've got a couple of problems, one I think I've seen somewhere else here.

The smaller problem is that the US declared war on Axis, but didn't join Allies, so now I'm fighting the Western Front with US an British troops unable to move through each other's territory. This is jamming me up something fierce.

Worse than that, though: the AI's deployed a bunch of what seem to be Ukrainian and Finnish units that my Brits and US forces can't attack, so they just block advances, keep me from surrounding cities, etc.

What do you need me to put here to get this fixed?

Thanks.

DDP

That may have been my post from my experience in my first game. The cure is that, when the AI USA joins the Alliance, you use the F11 key and manually change the control from the AI to Human.[:)]

I zipped the save file, but it's 559kb -- too large.

What part of it do you need?

Also, Tomokatu,

I was playing both US and UK as human.  I may have blown too many DPs on changing the US to pro-allied.  I understand needing the Diplo Points to bring the US in early, but when the Japanese attack and the US can declare war with no penalty, I don't understand why the US wouldn't automatically join the Allies.  It doesn't make any sense that the US would go to war with the Axis, but not automatically join the Allies.
