Djordje -> Missing pilot(s) (Public Beta) (8/29/2009 2:57:18 AM) For some time I suspected there was something going on with my pilots. Finally this turn I managed to track one of the changes. I've merged several pictures into one for easier download, and I will explain what they mean in order from top to bottom. - As we know A2A losses screen is without FOW, what is written there is what really happened. First picture shows one Zero loss for the day, ops loss to be exact. - Second picture shows the unit that had that operational loss, with pilot killed. It can be seen in operations report, in red text color. - Third picture is list of top pilots, with PO1 Kasai H. from Yamada Det S-1 listed as missing. - Fourth picture shows his unit with no losses for that day, while fifth shows pilot list of his unit, where he is nowhere to be found. - Sixth and final picture shows that he was alive and well that day, flying like a superman and obtaining an ace status. This can be seen in text report, colored in blue. There was one report of damaged airplane on landing from his squadron, colored purple. However the ace pilot is listed as MIA, not WIA so damaged plane on landing should not matter. I wish to think that he went to some brothel to celebrate his successes today and that he will be back in few days but somehow I don't feel it will happen. I thought that turn should always be the same, no matter how many time you resolve it. Anyway, info I gave in the first post probably won't be valid anymore. However, even in new version of the turn similar thing happened, same unit just different pilot. This time LTJG Ichimura C. is MIA, although nothing happened to his squadron. He did not become ace so I guess going MIA is not related to it. During the night phase of the turn resolution SS Salmon will attack TF that has one DD, one AO and one AK. In the first run (with ace going MIA) Salmon fired on AK but the hit was dud. In the second version of the turn Salmon fired at AO and it sunk later that night. If one of those two things happens while you run the turn you should know what pilot to look for. If some third outcome comes then I don't know what to say [:)] Edit: If you look at the pilot roster in the first post you will see that LTJG Ichimura is not listed there at all...

Djordje -> RE: Missing pilot(s) (Public Beta) (8/29/2009 4:00:23 AM) I've gone back few turns to check things, and found out that both pilots were lost (both MIA)long time ago. However something happened with their squadron and now my missing and dead pilots are getting credits for the kills of my active pilots. I think that one WIA pilot that returned back into squadron started all this. It is CPO Minowa A., you can see him listed last on the pilot screen, the one that has improved in air, naval bombing(?!), naval search(?!) and def, while he was wounded and was recovering in hospital. This is the save before he returned to the unit. I did not pull him out of trained pool, the day after he rejoined it by himself. I'm done talking to myself for tonight, going to sleep. Tomorrow I'll check if I can find any more info.
