NeverMan -> Has the Polish Creation bug been fixed yet? (8/29/2009 4:56:43 PM)

The bug that doesn't allow you to choose which provinces to add to Poland it just automatically adds them all?

This was no bug, it was designed that way.

As far as i understood Marshall might try redesign it, but for now its no bug, since it acts as intended. Same goes for adding provinces to exsisting "kingdoms".

Ok, so has this "no bug" been fixed?

No fixing was needed since its no bug, is it a problem yes ? Caused by design,:)

Anyway im sure Marshall will look into this at some point, but it might not have top priority compared to other problems.

Marshall Ellis -> RE: Has the Polish Creation bug been fixed yet? (8/31/2009 12:44:33 PM)

It was designed this way. We could change this a bit later AFTER we've tightened up the PBEM issues (1.09+)

eske -> RE: Has the Polish Creation bug been fixed yet? (8/31/2009 2:25:07 PM)

Isn't the rules for Poland, that all possible polish provinces you control HAS to be included in a Poland, once you created it ??

One of the major reasons Russia hates Poland [;)]

Think that rule applies for the other Kingdoms, but Poland is special here.

Yes, Bresh is correct here. It was probably only designed this way because Marshall was under the same impression eske is/was..... or maybe it was easy to code, I don't know, either way the rule doesn't work this way for Poland and it should be fixed. It makes creating Poland sometimes not such a great thing for Russia.

EDIT: BTW, we discussed this a LONG time ago and it was suggested way back then that it would be fixed.

bresh -> RE: Has the Polish Creation bug been fixed yet? (8/31/2009 9:17:45 PM)

Yes, though i would count the Poland problem a bigger issue than the problem with for the other "Kingdoms", about inability to add more including more minors eligble for the "Kingdom" when they come into control.

Its more of a "Kingdom" problem than a "Poland" problem. Since the design did not follow the EIA-standards.

Bresh
