What am I doing wrong? Ive chosen a sub as midget sub carrier, activated 4 SSX in the same port, but the game will not allow me to transfer one of the SSX to the SS. Do I need subs of a certain kind to be carrier-subs?

Also, if this is in the manual...where? Ive been browsing through the manual for over half an hour now.

you do need special sub classes to do it. Donīt know them out of my head though. There has been a thread about this just recently.

Only the Type C1 subs can launch Midgets, and they loose this ability following their upgrade in 08/44.

Subs in this class are;
I-16
I-18
I-20
I-22
I-24

You can always turn off upgrades if you really must have them.
