Enjoying the game, two little disappointments;

1) The paucity of scenarios and mini-campaigns. Excepting the scenarios which are simply tweaks of the full campaign there are what, three scenarios? Guadalcanal, Coral Sea and Aleutians. I think many of us would like to try Leyte Gulf, Burma, Solomons, China land war, The initial Jap expansion (first six months) and many others without spending years to get to that point of the war. I myself could enjoy the game without the full campaign at all.

2) The ability to hand off control of some theaters to the computer. Gary's first Pacific War game (yes, I'm that old) had the ability to set a headquarters to computer control. So if you just wanted to be Halsey or MacArthur it could easily be done. This, like the above, would make the game much more accessible.

Any plans for the above? [&:]

Thanks,

Scott

With the editor you can expect to see some  new scenarios come on line.

I agree with you. The May 1942 start scenario is a must. It was my favorite in WITP.

#1 - Yes--most likely from modders.

#2 - No

You could try to organize a multi-player PBEM in which you control what you want and the other members of your team control the rest.
