I seem to have a problem fitting out and equip the 3rd Air Army HQ. It came onto the map with reduced units. It came with 36 Aviation support instead of I guess 120. As a WitP Jap player I wasn't surprised. I thought that I must have been short on some equipment. So no problem. I then did not wait for fitting out in the HI and sent it to Saigon attached to the Southern Army. So it is now sitting there since 2 months or so and it has not received a single unit since it became available. I checked everything: replacements on, enough supplies, Southern Army HQ is at the same base aso.... Any ideas what I missed?

Do you have the gear in the pools to fit out this unit? Tiger!

I think it only has Aviation support and Support units if IIRC. And those units are in pool. Other units are using these replacements.

[;)] Post a screenshot. TOE for 3rd Air Army is 144x Aviation Support, 36x Motorized Support.

Unless things have changed from WITP to AE, the AI will go through LCUs with Replacements turned on from lowest ID# (1) to highest ID#. If this HQ has a high number and you have a lot of other LCUs with a lower ID# with Replacements turned on and they need Aviation Support, they get first priority. Next, check to see if the leader of this HQ has a high Admin rating. This helps when you are trying to rebuild and/or fill out an LCU. Its like when I play Japan, I usually go through my Zero and Betty daitai to get the best leaders with high Air and Inspiration ratings. If you want an Air unit to recover from low morale it helps to have a leader with high Inspiration.

Seems like you guys were right. Pools of Motorized and Aviation support are empty. I will switch off some other units using these pools and see what happens. Thanks a lot.

It's also much faster to fit out these units in Japan than elsewhere.
