Does anyone have an idea on how to pick up troops that have been dumped in the middle of the ocean because of a stupid transport commander??! I have tried using APD's, but they just sit in port and never move to make the pick up. Any help would be appreciated.

well I did an evacuation by building a TF with APD's and destroyers, then hitting Load troops and then clicked on the PICK UP TROOPS button and clicked on their location. I then selected the unit I wanted to pick up. I believe you can only pick up one unit at a time in this manner per TF though.

A single transport can carry one unit if it has enough capacity. If you need to pick up 3 units, send 3 transports.
