Remenents -> Off Topic question, but... (9/15/2009 5:23:18 PM)

Anyone know what Matrix Game it was that was almost identical to WiTP:AE but instead of 1 day turns, the turns were based on 1 week? So each turn took up 7 days instead of 1. I think it was the original, but cant remember. I used to have it a while ago, but had to fomat my PC and have been trying to remember the name of it. Thanks. :)

It's still available as a free download from Matrix.  [8D]

PacificWar.  I probably spent more time playing that game than any other I ever owned (until WitP and AE, that is).  Although the AI is rather stupid, it does play the first year of the war fairly well.

Ya, I just ask because I liked the fact of a bit faster pace. 1 week/turn rather than 1 day/turn. Dont get me wrong, I still love WiTP and AE, just liked being able to go through a game a bit faster when I was just up for a quick game, not to mention, it had a few more scenarios, if I remembe right. I would recommend Robert Ardrey's "African Genesis" and "The Territorial Imperative".
