MadmanRick -> Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/16/2009 4:41:53 PM)

On January 30, 1943 the HMS Illustrious was in the United Kingdom, the very next day (1/31/43), she was in a CV TF 11 hexes North of Noumea. Here is the save of the Illustrious in the UK.

Will look into teleportation.

Can't do anything about the unemployment.

Sonny II -> RE: Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/17/2009 12:29:35 AM)

Madman, did you create TF with the Illustious in the UK or did the game create it and teleport it?

I cannot reproduce the problem. It may be fixed in Patch 2.

MadmanRick -> RE: Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/17/2009 1:20:34 AM)

Sonny,
No the computer created the TF, I am playing the Japanese side. After some earlier strange results, I've begun keeping at least 2 (game) weeks worth of saves and from time to time I'll go back in and check the Allied (computer) side.

Jonathan Pollard -> RE: Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/17/2009 10:18:57 AM)

The designers have already admitted that AI ships are allowed to "exceed their movement allowance" but I don't know if there's a limit as to how much they can exceed.  If it's unlimited, then maybe what you saw is WAD?

Sonny II -> RE: Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/17/2009 10:37:09 AM)

Ah. my fault. Since you knew so much about which ship(s) etc. I thought you were playing the Allied side.

The AI seems to be quite adept.

BigJ62 -> RE: Teleportation...STILL v1084 (saved pre-hotfix) (9/17/2009 9:25:44 PM)

WAD - as long as ships are disbanded in a friendly port and ai needs to build a TF at a friendly port it can teleport any ships available if the right type and number exist otherwise no build. It does not teleport TFs.

You mean this takes place in a human vs. computer game? This makes SigInt useless and generally defeats the whole purpose of human vs. computer, no? [&:]
