greywulfe -> Patch 1.60 - research/air supply/weather (9/21/2009 3:33:28 AM)

Playing as Germans / Grand Campaign.

1 - Have maximum research for TANKS. Has been stuck at 96/100 for quite some time. Research report shows 0 months remaining, yet I never get to level two. The research report doesn't pop up automatically anymore. Also - how can I have LVL 2 tanks on the field if the research screen still shows me as level 1?

2 - Some air units have strength of 6-8. I have them right next to a city. When I highlight the replacements button it says my supply (29) allow a maximum replacement strength of 5.

3 - Regarding weather as mentioned by other users...it seems extreme to have EVERY hex in rain/snow for so long. Pretty much all of Poland and Russia are 100% rain/mud for several months.

Thanks!

The problem seems to go away if I start researching something else. When I did that, it updated the level.

Points 2 and 3 were fixed for official patch 1.60, we will investigate problem with tanks research.

I now have all areas with (3) research points except nukes. However it seems they are all stuck now, as each turn it still says the same amount of months completion. I don't want to start nuke research, but this seems to be a problem.

I just want to point out that the research numbers only change once a month, on the interturn between the 1st and the 9th. Thus you would not expect a change but once in four turns.

If this is something you are aware of fine, but if not it could be the issue. I have not seen any problem with research.
