I am playing a long scenario with Austria. It started really well, I was allied with Prussia against France and had good relation with Russia and Britain (both +500). Britain refused alliance - why??? Two turns later Russia declared war on me along with Turkey. Next turn, Britain declared war, next turn Prussia broke alliance, and finally, ice on the cake, Prussia declared war. All these within 5 turns!!!
No idea what went wrong, what I should have done. Basically all I did was withdrew my army from the western front onto homeland, and declared myself an empire. Maybe this empire thing upset the others so much??? Above all, no one accepts limited surrender. No one accepts cease fire.
What can I do to make a nation alliance? How can I do limited surrender? How can I keep my alliance? How can I make a nation accept cease fire?
