Would somebody explain, step by step, how to execute an amphibious assault?

Also how to create a artifical harbor.

What are the requirements and limitations for each?

1. Select a friendly-controlled, empty (no unit) coastal hex.
2. There is small panel with 4 buttons (this is "hex actions" panel). One of those buttons is responsible for building art. harbor. If it is active, then you simply click it, if it's not (dark, barely visible) then hover your mouse over it and read hint on top of the screen.

CAUTION:
Be aware that you will need TOTAL naval control of the sea area. If there are any enemy naval forces in that sea area, then you will lose amphibious units.
Note also that artificial harbours only provide supply for a very limited time. You will need a real city port real soon. Plan accordingly!

You should know this only works if you have installed the beta 1.60 patch. [;)]
