Stratos_MatrixForum -> Tiny scenario to learn the game? (10/17/2009 12:41:10 PM)

Exist any downloadable tiny scenario so I can learn to play this monster? All the scenarios included in game are really too big to learn, I will love something really small
Thanks

Scenarios 3,4,5 or 6 are pretty small, anything smaller and the AI (Artificial Imbecile) will not work. Not that it is a big challenge anyway. That is why AE is such an improvement for Players.

The best way is to jump in and get you feet wet, do a few turns and then start again and do it a different way, see what transpires... play as the Allies.

What exactly are you looking to learn ? Maybe also read some AAR's.

As n0 says, best way to play the game is play the 42/A or 42/B campaign and just play it out, I would suggest starting out as allies. I say the 42/B campaign which you start in August of 42. If you only stick to tiny scenarios problem is you will miss a lot of things the big campaigns don't have.

The game does seem overwhelming, but believe me I started around Feb of 09 and I have 3 campaign games going right now, 1 I started in Feb, it looks terrible but granted all that I learned is being applied in the 2nd and 3rd campaign.

If you have any questions feel free to ask here, were glad to answer.
