Always try operating the game in administrator mode. Some games will run in both but rarely are games properly saved in non-admin mode. Also if you change game settings ie graphics resolution etc. things can get a little wonky with Win 7. I changed a resolution to 1680 for my 22' LCD in admin mode for a game. Went to start it up in operator mode and it crashed. That resolution was not offered in the non-admin mode. But it ran fine in Admin mode where the resolution was now selectable. Triggers which are updated (role playing games) and accessed by the core file can be shuttled off to a secret shadow file[;)]. The thing is you may think a game is working OK, but you really don't know until you wasted alot of time. Modding games with archived files can be a real fight in Win 7 as well. The thing is if a game was not optimized or tested for Win 7 may not work completely in Win 7. Bottom line, most games work fine. But not all.[8|]
