Japanese aircraft losses
D3A Val: 17 destroyed, 53 damaged
A6M3a Zero: 48 destroyed
B5N Kate: 16 destroyed, 28 damaged

Allied aircraft losses
Spitfire Vb: 4 destroyed, 2 damaged
Kittyhawk I: 4 destroyed, 2 damaged

If that's true then his fighter pilot skill has really gone down the toilet.

For me the focus of the allies has to be capturing the Marianas, this puts Japan in B29 range, everything else is a waste of time and resources. Unlees they're gifting you something. It means first you have to clear the Marshalls and then, when you have the carriers, make the big jump across.

PNG is, in my opinion, a waste of time. You can take Palaus and Peleliu from Guam and use them as a stepping stone to the PI.

Just my take on the game.
