Gregg -> Another bug? (11/10/2009 10:41:50 PM) Playing Japanese against AI in campaign game, now early Feb 1042. I have noticed quite a few of my lightly damaged ships after repair at main bases in Japan (9 and 10 size ports), complete repairs with zero damage but still have anywhere from 6 to 17 flooding. Is this a bug? Gregg

(11/11/2009 7:32:56 PM) A port will repair ALL system and fire damage, and ONLY Minor flotation and engine damage (plus major damage IF it is less than 5 ) For Major flotation and/or engine damage of 6 AND HIGHER, then a Repair Shipyard is required; and the ship must be put into 'shipyard mode' (not pierside or readiness modes).

Gregg -> RE: Another bug? (11/11/2009 10:21:55 PM) The CA with the 17 flotation damage was disbanded in Osaka, a size 10 port with shipyard, now all zero's except for flooding damage. When it was first disbanded at Osaka, it was something like 11-17-0-2, it was hit by a Dutch torpedo down around Singapore towards the end of Dec 1941. Flooding did get up to the high 30's before it was reduced by first docking and disbanding at Camron Bay. Once the flooding got down to a reasonable level (the 17) I sent it to Osaka for repairs.
