Then don't use Firefox.

killroyishere -> RE: Blech (11/18/2009 3:35:41 AM)

Yeah stop using firefoxs easy as that. Plus all you had to do was put matrixgames in your trusted list and you wouldn't have had any problems.

Phatguy -> RE: Blech (11/18/2009 3:48:53 AM)

um no, that did not work..and yes now im using Opera. I was just so used to using firefox for so long I just felt weird going a different browser.

Glad to see it was just a computer problem that was keeping you away, AL. I was actually thinking about you the other day, wondering why you haven't posted recently. Man, you need to keep a lifeline of geeks handy in case this happens again. We should be able to get you back in action pretty fast.

Thanks Slick...... Health kept me away too a bit as I was too frustrated with my internet and it kept raising my blood pressure
which was a bad thing....so I just kept buying board games on Ebay as a placebo...Now me and the missus are very very close to closing on a house(within a week) . Thats not helping my blood pressure either as the bank people have "issues" with using thier brains...lol

Welcome to the teeny tiny universe of Opera users :)

Personally, I love it and virtually gave up on Firefox.

I just recently downloaded a new version of a very, very popular browser. 7 days have past, I spent them all trying with HP to figure out why my printer apps were all screwed up. I finally located a site that had my older browser, I reinstalled same, reinstalled hardware and software, now my printer works like a charm. A bunch of credit also goes to HP assistance desk. Maybe its time for me to look into a new browser. FWIW

Welcome back, apathetic lurker. Sorry to hear about your problem with Firefox, but it is the only browser I have ever used when visiting this forum and I have never had a problem with it.

Firefox and Opera are both more bloated than they used to be. I have been considering switching to a leaner one, but haven't done so yet.
