Intruder -> Deperately craving SP:WaW HELP! (6/24/2002 2:29:57 AM)

I have tried, over the last 3 weeks, to download SP:WaW from the official links to Games Domain. However they never begin. I am using Getright due to the fact that I am a lowly 56k user. The download begins but then immediately says that the server is busy and wont continue. I have let is sit for hours upon hours with download in sight. I ask, nay I beg of anyone, is there a reliable download sight that I can spend a few days dowloading from, or is there some kind soul out there who could burn the file onto a CD and mail it to me? Please :) See I'm likable and would appreciate it beyond measure.

An alternative to GetRight is Download Accelerator plus. I have found this little nugget valuable for overloaded servers. I have a 10 Mbit line, but I think it can help for all kinds of surfers..

If you buy a mega campaign, you avoid the dowload alltogether

Intruder... just break down and shell out the 24.99 and get the megacampaign. If you don't have a CD burner on your unit and your hard drive X's out, you don't have a way to reinstall. Who would want to download this monster twice? Beside the megacampaigns are a hoot.

Too late :) After 40 some hours I successfully completed the download and burnt it to a CD. I let Getright retry the download 57 times before it successfully nabbed it. After a little play time I'll look into a Mega Campaign after I recieve my Bulge'44 this week.

maybe I will just say a silent prayer for your loved ones that might miss you now heheh (assuming you are as bad with obsessive playing of Steel Panthers as most seem to be heheh).
