WOODHEAT -> Soviet Aircraft (12/19/2009 10:35:53 PM)

Hi -

I'm playing the scenario that starts in 1942 and am always loosing. One thing I tried was spying by the soviets with there extra resources on the Japanese to aid there defeat. Are there anything the soviets can really do against the Japanese considering the short time between German surender in late 1944 to the 1945/1946 when the game ends? I wanted to build better aircraft by spying on the Japanese and Germans but it didn't help.

What do you recommend?

Since you are really new to the game I suggest you avoid spending any of your supply on security and spies for now until you better understand the cost to value relationship of the supply you are spending. Instead use the supply for regular things like repairing destroyed rail and fuel for your units.

The Soviets can help the US against Japan by knocking out Manchuria, Korea, etc. And if the Russian airforce can sweep Japan of any defending aircraft each turn do so. It will help the US.

Keep playing and in a very short time the mechanics of this game will click.
