slybelle -> Old Korea Tutorial - Why did this happen? (12/22/2009 1:51:45 PM)

As I have been trying to determine if TOAW is for me, I happened to find an old demo version of TOAW (Century of Warfare edition). I know this is different then the matrix version but thought I could see at least the basics. However, after playing the scenario a couple of times I'm a little confused on how scenarios end. As an example in my last game, at turn 7, the game immediately ended and said I was the victor (United Nations). The game is supposed to last between 27 and 52 weeks, but only made it to 7. On top of that, I have no idea why they declared me the victor and so early in the game. I absolutely did nothing and was destroyed all over the place. All my untis basically had to retreat all the way down to the most southern city. The communist forces controlled everything. One other quick note in the situation briefing area it says that my current status is "Overwhelming defeat". So why did I win so quickly? What did I do to deserve that? Is this just maybe a bad scenario? Seemed kind of crazy to me. I played the scenario a couple of other times (with me playing just as bad) and it lasted to turn 52. Any thoughts?
