rome87 -> Game question (12/24/2009 10:54:26 AM)

hi im interested in buying this game very much but am wondering are there any demos for this game to try before i buy that is not vol 1 ?

Also how many scenarios are there in ww2 ?

Finally coming from playing advanced tactics is this game much more complex to learn to play or more micro mangement involved how many game hours does the average scenario take to play out ?

Dunno about demos. More scenarios than you need. Complex to master, not the easiest game to learn but in the very basic it ain't too hard.

Here is a link to the Century of Warfare edition demo. It is not the Matrix version, but can give you some ideas. It even works on my Windows 7 64-bit system even though this version is ancient:)

Is that demo very similar to how this game plays and looks graphics wise ?

Don't know for sure since I have not played the matrix version yet. However, based on screens and people's comments, seems like it does have the basics. Again, would likely just give you a general idea about the game, not an exact replica of the matrix version.

User interface and game mechanics are quite similar. The Matrix version added new features and corrected bugs.
The demo will give you a good idea of how the game plays

Gameplay and graphics are similar, although there are a number of updated graphics placks out there.

The Solo game is very different, the earlier AI had a lot of problems and played very poorly.
