Connfire -> Question re Auto-Convoy (1/6/2010 2:46:46 AM)

OK, here's the situation: I'm playing vs. the AI in the 1922 Scenerio as the Allies, though in my campaign only the USA is fighting Japan. Its now late February 1924. My ground forces are heavily committed in Formosa - I'm currently laying siege to Taichu, with over a quarter million troops on each side facing off. The Japanese control Taichu and Taipei, while I control Takao and Tainan. For some reason, and this has never happened in this game before, the computer is automatically sending supplies to my troops sieging Taichu, using AKs on Computer Control from Manila. Granted, with all the combat going on, I do have ground units that need supply there. But its irritating that the computer is comandeering ships out of Manila, about every other day, and sending them all alone and without escort through sub-infested waters. About a dozen computer controlled AKs have left Manila, all in seperate single-ship task forces, and at least 1 has been torpedoed. I even spotted 1 AK with a Rear Admiral on board! This is nuts. None of the AKs in Manila are set for auto convoy. I don't control Taichu, so it is obviously not set for auto convoy. Why did this suddenly start happening? How do I stop it?
