Tatoune -> Can't load troops... is it issue? (1/22/2010 5:07:09 AM)

I'm playing allies (Guadalcanal scenario) and I can NOT load my troops on transport ships, even if I'm in amphibious mission and enough troops capacity. I mean I can load 1 troop out of 17 at Brisbane for instance. I looked at the tutorial movies (how to load troops) released yesterday and even if my base is full of troops, I can't load them.

Then I played the same scenario with Japan and yes I'm able to load troops on ships.

One more thing, I tried to place some troops in stategic mode and on the next turn, I can't even load them.

Is there something wrong... something that I should know?...... or simply issue?

After you place troops into strat mode there is a 1 to 3 day pack time shown in purple? Then they will load

eeh, no. I run 3 turns and the unit is no longer in purple, still in strategic mode and I can't load...

Don't know why.

Most of them are in restricted commands "Australia (R)" - you have to use Preparation Points (PP) to change them to a command such as "Southwest command" before you can load them on a ship

Just to expand on the previous poster .

Units in RESTRICTED Commands cannot be loaded on ships or air transported out of their command area. Many units in Oz are in "Australia Command(R)" - the (R) signifies a Restricted command.
You need to spend "Political Points" (PP) to change to an Unrestricted command (eg 'Southwest Pacific', 'I Australian Army').
You must have enough PPs in the pool to change the command.

Edit: Guess what, Damian does a video today on that subject... many thanks[sm=happy0065.gif]
