I think the community certainly still has a pulse, albeit a faint one. Probably your new scenario will spark up some more interest once its finished.

I think the pulse is faint for a lot of people, because they are in suspended animation, waiting for the patch to come out.

No doubt, Bill, no doubt!

The TOAD folks are building new sce.s based on 3.4 though..........

Just a thought!

[:D]

LOK_32MK -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/3/2010 11:01:44 AM)

I have 2-3 scenarios in "suspended" animation waiting for 3.4. Should I wait? Is there any way to get a beta version of 3.4 to test the new features?

Hopefully that's not what is holding the patch...

(not that one, seeing things from the outside, can make any sense of the time taken by this patch)

Good things come to he whom waits... or, so they say...

Just waiting for Ralph et al to de-cloak/appear to both update and dispell the doubt.

From what I see (*heh*), the update will be WELL worth it... The new supply and turn order will be worth it.

BigDuke66 -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/3/2010 4:28:01 PM)

But it would be nice to hear at least something.
Last Blog entry is from 17th January so a bit info about how it's going would be good.

L`zard -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/4/2010 1:42:10 AM)

Stauffenberg now has a 'project page' on RD concerning his newest scenario 'Drang nach Asien'. DnA will post as soon as the last of the toaw patch program is finished and a little light testing goes on.

see it here: http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=842

Good Stuff, McBride!

Sorry, man, looks like you'll have to wait. Hopefully not that long, eh?

Panama -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/4/2010 2:00:12 AM)

Latest report is waiting on Ralph after discovering some graphics snafu caused by the new alpha graphics.

L`zard -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/11/2010 12:20:51 AM)

Well, I wish someone would hurry it all up!

Yeah, I second that. [8D]

I'm sure Ralph is anxious to get it out too.

We all wish that.

L`zard -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (4/18/2010 3:07:31 AM)

Ralph has posted in his "Dev blog" today!

Not that it means that the patch is done, just that finally work continues, eh?

Looks like another beta, and then a call for subscriber's to submit new scenarios.........

Basically, this means that there's a bit o' waiting for scenarios by those that aren't part of the Toad Team, tho hopefully nothing that will seriously delay the patch, seeing that any scenario might be uploaded to the various online folders.

Get Some, Ralph!

Yes good to see that it goes on.

morleron1225 -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (5/1/2010 5:44:17 PM)

I'm glad to know that you're back. I remember playing some of your scenarios under earlier versions of TOAW and enjoying them very much. I'm looking forward to seeing your new efforts.

Silvanski -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (5/6/2010 6:39:38 PM)

edit: Drang Nach Asien stays on track

L`zard -> RE: Stauffenberg's Scenario Archive (5/6/2010 9:14:24 PM)

Looks like the report on the demise of Doug Hensley was a bit premature....

'Twould seem that the Master got ahold of a spurious obituary!

(All right, people, move along! There's nothing to see here!)
