G'day folks,
Just bought a new computer and the dopey dealer didn't partition the HD as requested, I am trying to do it now, but can only partition into 3 drives. My question is, are u limited to the number of drives u can partition? I'm using win7 home premium

I wouldn't run Dealer's installed version of OS. Simply dump it and reinstall Win 7 and partition the HD the way you want it.

I have now, just took a bit of fiddling, Strangely no matter what I did on the initial Win 7 install I could only get 3 partitions and 2 unallocated drives, which I fixed after the install via the systems disk tool [:)]

I don't partition anymore

I am limit myself to a max of 3 partitions.  There are a number of useful free programs that are better than the one supplied with windows (they allow you to partition and resize you partition without loss of data).  Also the version you get is dependant upon the version installed (either 32 or 64 bit).
