PMCN -> victory levels (7/5/2002 12:14:03 AM)

Could someone please tell me what are the required ratio of victory points for the various levels of victory.

I keep getting draws in LV and this annoys me since I have over 1.5:1 in victory points which to me is not a "draw" but a victory.

If I'm reading that correct as 1 1/2 to 1, it is a draw.
Here are the ratios:
SPWaW Victory Ratios explained.

Human vs computer
More than 1-3 Decisive Loss
1-3 to 3-1 Draw
3-1 to 7-1 Minor victory
7-1 Higher Major victory

The odds vs human player are a little lower. This is due to the predictable action of the AI in computer generated battles.

Human vs. Human
More than 1-2 Decisive Loss
1-2 to 2-1 Draw
2-1 to 6-1 Minor victory
6-1 Higher Major victory

chief -> Math Major ? (7/5/2002 12:39:38 AM)

Gmenfan: Never was much good at math but if I read Paul M's post correctly he got a 1.5-1 ratio therefore Human vs comp its a draw, human vs human also a draw. Now being I've been wrong in the past am I wrong now ?:confused: ;)

No chief if you and I are both reading it as 1 and a half to 1 then either way it's a draw and your not wrong. That's why I wanted conformation as he may of typo'd his ratio.

Thanks guys...

The ratio is one and half to one (a bit more actually but good enough the numbers were 8500 VP (me) vrs 4900 VP (russian) or thereabouts). I am supoosed to get 3:1 for a minor victory??

Gad zuks...is this adjusted for command and control being on? That tends to make it much harder to control the troops...I find myself in situations where a dispersed formation is effectively immobile (this happened a lot as I had forgotten quite a bit since the last time I played SPIII). Even movement around an objective becomes somewhat more difficult.

Anyway thanks again for the information

Actually you'll need a slightly higher than a 3:1 ratio to receive a victory, there is and overlap directly on 3:1
