brhugo -> Air Evac of Base Forces (2/2/2010 11:46:52 PM) I am trying to implement the advice in the very helpful Allies setup spreadsheet to 'Pay the 9 PP ("within command"), draw 6 A/C from the pool, transfer (D.VI.A) to Tarakan (Begin to extract BF troops from Miri & Brunei)'. I haven't been able to find a command to transfer either the Miri or Brunai base forces to that will allow the air transport unit to pick them up.

Nomad -> RE: Air Evac of Base Forces (2/3/2010 12:33:51 AM) The base force is not restricted. But, Brunei has an airfield size of 0, so only float planes can pick them up. But D.VI.A is a transport aircraft, not a float plane patrol aircraft. You will need to transfer in a Do 24K-1 equiped unit instead. I would also tell you to use Balikpapan instead of Tarakan. To pick up the base force, open the air unit, click on supply transport, select a destination of Brunei, then click on pickup troops and it should select the only unit there, the No. 107 BF(?).
