USMC planes are from the USN pool. That was real life, too. Important to realize that it is not set by nationality, it is set by squadron (what plane it's using), so making it be realistic was a lot of extra work for the developers. You will eventually find, for example, at least one squadron (IIRC it's Australian, but maybe USA?) that uses some left-over Dutch bombers. These things happened in real life There are a number of such examples. The 'nationality' of the air unit is not necessarily the same as who supplied the airframes. BTW, USMC squadrons served on USN CV's plenty, especially Corsair squadrons later in the war. Putting some of those 'carrier capable' USMC planes on carriers early to increase defense or offensive punch is fine. You will probably see more ops losses. Also, in general, the pilots are less well-trained and less experienced than USN pilots.
