LLKK -> How works Tutorial Korea? (2/11/2010 9:19:43 AM)

Hi,

I played many strategy games in the past and dicovered now TOAW3. Seems to be a really great game!
First I would like to play the Korea tutorial, but I cant find the hints which are usually given when you play a tutorial. I cant find the hints in the manual.

And: How can I check, if my units are supplied?

Regards
LLKK

As to the tutorial, start the game, click on "briefing" a popup briefing appears (it's in the righthand corner, button looks like a "briefing button" [:)] , then click on "documentation". All the tutorial scenarios have one.
The supply button is also located there, looks like a "circle"
Still not too sure how supply really works myself though, my units go out of supply pretty fast, argh. Yes I know it goes by roads, communication lines and HQ's boost the supply%, other than that... [&:]

I guess in a nutshell, if a unit performs any action (moves, shoots, goes to the pub) it uses supply and it's readiness also decreases. If a unit does nothing in a turn it recovers some supply at the beginning of the next turn. It recovers some readiness at the beginning of every turn.

That's the short explanation.

Yep, you're right, that's the way it works. But before you .... "feel" what you can do with a unit (attack/defend/move around), before it really needs resupply, and how long the resuply is gonna take, that is something only a long game experience can give you.
