Downloaded JT Campaign Series a few days ago. How do I learn the version number? Do I need to download/install the 1.04 patch? Thank you for your patience1

Open the Main Game Menu, find the word Update and click it. It will connect to Matrix and check to see if you need an update and install it for you if needed.
To find your version number, start a battle, press M to see the top menu, click about

Many thanks.  Every time I attempt the Matrix update, using the series game menu, it locks when trying to create a handle.  Oh well............

Check the about to see if it shows version 1.04
If not, go to the members area and create an account. Register your game. Then look for the download for update. Then run the update.

I don't think the game posts which version you have. A lot of games will reflect the version you're using on the initial screen.  However, if you pull up a scenario and hit the options button, and if the options included whether to use variable visibility and whether to use extreme assault, then I believe you've got the most recent version 1.04.  If there is no option for those two, you're not yet up to date.

From the top menu, I click Help, then about. I get a popup window that says 1.04

Many thanks to both of you! Downloaded/installed Ver 1.04. Your help is deeply appreciated.

Thanks junk2drive. In the past I think that reflected the old Talonsoft version, which led to confusion. I"m glad that's been added.
