Ojections noted. The basic plan for the game is done. The items that have been discussed are not going to change at this point. If this leaves a game you are not interested in, please save your money. I of course think the games "haves" list is much longer than what's listed above and can be found in the posts and AAR in the forum. I understand this game is not for everyone. There's not need to get upset about it. It's just a game.

Hey,

I think we should clear this up- no one is upset and I will be buying the game.
I personally felt in the firing line with Pyles post, while he wasn't directly involved in the discussion.
But that's fine- I'm a big boy, and reading with a few Wild Turkeys under the belt is probably not a good idea.

I suppose part of the issue is not knowing exactly what is under the hood in the game- being without production brings thoughts of the game not being well rounded enough. But following the AAR has opened my eyes to some of the developments that has been made.

cheers

Jamie

Thank You Joel.

To the rest, my original post said why I was posting. The thread was not intended to 'lead' anywhere.
I thought the forum was occasion to post 'opinion' which I have.
I am certain of one thing, the Matrix people read these threads.

I dont know if I will buy the game. I have never seen an attempt at this scale.
It will be interesting.

You are right, it should always be Scotch malt whisky!

Personally, I larfed when I read the 'wife' quip...[;)]

And to add my two penn'orth, I am very happy with the degree of complexity in organising the troops, sorting the support units, the HQ's , supply, rail, air etc without the additonal hassle of an unhistroical production system too. I've always disliked 'builder' games and want my strategy straight, like my whisky.
