TimeTanker -> Mojo vs. TimeTanker WC Round 1 (7/11/2002 9:31:10 AM)

Finland versus USMC December 1943.

4k each, 20 turns Medium map.

It seems that many of the Finnish Troops that were fighting in the snow decided that things were turning dicey and purchased their own freighter to take them to the South Pacific.

Must be nice to own your own Island they thought. Surely with all the destruction down there; we could find one nobody wants!

Unfortunately, there were a bunch of Marines that had the same idea. :cool:

This is a war of posession. The army left standing keeps the island.

TimeTanker -> Here is the file.... (7/11/2002 10:21:25 AM)

Knowing that you are extremely busy.

I am going to put the file here

Mojo -> (7/11/2002 10:51:39 AM)

I got it. As soon as I figure out what to do with it I'll send you my turn. LOL

Mojo -> (7/14/2002 3:07:37 AM)

I really am dismayed that the Captain of our troop transport missed our destination so badly that we ended up here in the South Pacific.

Hot as a sauna but that's a dry heat. This is miserable. The ski troops have been playing on the beach and are getting towed by our armored cars. I think I'll have to cut down on the vodka rations.

TimeTanker -> Aha! (7/14/2002 3:56:12 AM)

So that is what those strange looking foot prints in the sand were.

One of my lieutenants came to me raving about some gigantic snake that runs in pairs. He said it was so heavy and large that it left a trail about a foot deep in the sand and was moving so fast as to have left sand scatter when it turned.

I thought that was pretty ridiculous. And, I knew he was nuts when he said that the snake had to have arms or wings or something because about 3 feet to each side of the snakes path were these marks that looked as though the snakes were propelling themselves with some form of outrigger.

Hah! Hah! Now I find out that there are Finnish Troops on my Island and they are messing up my perfectly groomed beaches.

Well, just so that you don't get the wrong impression. I have nothing against the finnish people. But, you need to get back on that freighter and return to the land of Ice and snow. Because this Island is hereby declared to be the "Republic of Corps". And, unless you join up with the US Marine Corps? You will be in voiolation immigration laws.
