Evening Rafael- I enjoy this Tiller System- after having been locked into over a year as a play tester/player on another Civ War game platform I got the Civ War bug bad enough for this old favorite - and started playing guys this system again. The Civ War is one of my perenial favorites through the years and I love battling in the era. I actually am in another PBEM Gettysburg with MVP 129 right now- plus another battle in the system with Jutland. I have a time slot (IE: a free hour slot) open as another opponent had to go on to some real life issues and left for awhile- leaving me a hole to fill. I try to keep a full roster of gamers in my play slots- I am retied just this year and have a bit more time- but life is still busy so its not as much time as I would like, in a perfect world. I am usually good for a steady return of at least a turn a day, more when I can, but frankly it can take an hour or more to do a turn in Gettysburg when all the forces engage fully. To speed things up best to use the auto defense option clicked on to speed up the turn arounds- that cuts the back and forth in half and usually the shots are what you want. Naturally extreme Fog and War and leader casualties- also Flanking fire bonuses. and the alt retreat option. We can discuss options. What house rules did you have in mind? These systems have been around since the 90s and don't need much tinkering anymore. Certainly I will concider house rule any that can be argued with sound historic reasons. I am a sereious Civil War buff/historian so the house rule must match some sort of historic reason to be. My personal Email is Docfstar2@aol.com. I am on the Pacific Time Zone of the USA and live in Northern California. I've been around military gaming of all sorts for a very long time. If interested drop me an email and we can talk about a game. Doc o War [image]local://upfiles/29910/47721D6D4A274125B2CA8D6A0CFFA734.jpg[/image]
